Watani zangu acheni wasichana nao wasome jamani!!!
Tarime — FELISTA Laurent (15) had not been admitted to hospital in her life, until November 4, this year, when she was attacked by his father, Laurent Nyonyo and hospitalised at Tarime District Regional Hospital, with serious wounds. This was after she refused to get married. Staff Writer MUGINI JACOB visited the young girl at the hospital and now reports...
SHE is young and plans to begin her secondary education next year. Sadly, her future stands in limbo because her father wanted to receive some cows in dowry, forcing her to accept early marriage and thus sacrifice education.
The decision by Felista to reject an offer for early marriage has denied her father nine heads of cattle, but she is now feeling the pinch of not becoming a mother as early as her father wished.
"I have never been admitted to a hospital since I was born, but I am now wounded and hospitalized for refusing to be married", Felista says.
Yaani hawa watani zangu wananiacha hoi, wanasema ukipata mtoto wa kike tayari ni mtaji kwao. chekini na hii post ya zamani muone wakurya wasivyo na masihara ndoa za lazima
Are You Unapproachable to Men?
Je Vijana hawakupi kideiti??
Dear What Men Want: Recently (4 months ago, to be exact) I moved to Manhattan after graduating college and I have yet to score a date with any eligible bachelors in the city. In fact, I don't even think I've given my number out once. My roommates, on the other hand, both go on dates all the time, while I end up empty-handed weekend after weekend. I'm no Gisele, but from what I've been told, this isn't a question of my attractiveness. My roommates think I'm a little too picky in my choice of men (which I like to call "high standards") and think I shut down men too fast, but even so, why are no decent men approaching me when I'm out? Is it possible that I look intimidating to men, and if so, do men only approach the easy-looking girls at bars? How can I change my attitude so that men find me more approachable without throwing myself at them? Please help, WMW!
Sincerely,
Dating-Challenged

Stop Blaming and Rise Up
When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me” (John 5:6-7).
This guy was basically saying, “It's not my fault. I'm in this condition because of what someone else won't do for me, and because of what someone else has done to me.”
Think about it, “I have no man to put me in.” Paraphrased that says, “I'm stuck because of what someone won't do for me.” Or, “While I'm coming, another steps down before me,” which paraphrased says, “I'm stuck because of what someone else has done to me.” Either way, “It is not my fault.”
We need to make up our minds that we want to be free, then stop shifting the blame to others.
A friend of mine migrated from Mexico to the U.S. many years ago. He didn't understand the culture or the language and seemed to be hopelessly locked into a dead end job.
His employer took advantage of him and it seemed like he had no way out. But instead of blaming others for his situation (which would have been easy for him to do), he decided to get unstuck and do something with his life.
It took several years, but today he has several businesses and is quite wealthy.
Do not get caught in the trap of blaming others. Instead, make the decision to rise up (something we will be talking about in our next devotional.)

Snake spits out new species of chameleon at scientist's feet
It was so nearly known as dinner. Instead, a small and not terribly impressive chameleon has become the newest discovery of the natural world, after a startled Tanzanian snake spat a still-undigested specimen at the feet of a British scientist, who identified it as a previously unknown species.
Dr Andrew Marshall, a conservationist from York University, was surveying monkeys in the Magombera forest in Tanzania, when he stumbled across a twig snake which, frightened, coughed up the chameleon and fled. Though a colleague persuaded him not to touch it because of the risk from venom, Marshall suspected it might be a new species, and took a photograph to send to colleagues, who confirmed his suspicions.
Kinyongia magomberae, literally "the chameleon from Magombera", is the result, though Marshall told the Guardian today the fact it wasn't easy to identify is precisely what made it unique.
"The thing is, colour isn't the best thing for telling chameleons apart, since they can change colour for camouflage. They are usually identified based on the patterning and shape of the head, and the arrangement of scales. In this case it's the bulge of scales on its nose."

Thank you for this opportunity to exchange views with you and your readers in Cuba and around the world and congratulations on receiving the Maria Moore Cabot Prize award from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism for coverage of Latin America that furthers inter-American understanding. You richly deserve the award. I was disappointed you were denied the ability to travel to receive the award in person.
Your blog provides the world a unique window into the realities of daily life in Cuba. It is telling that the Internet has provided you and other courageous Cuban bloggers with an outlet to express yourself so freely, and I applaud your collective efforts to empower fellow Cubans to express themselves through the use of technology. The government and people of the United States join all of you in looking forward to the day all Cubans can freely express themselves in public without fear and without reprisals.

FIFA YAWATOSA WA-AIRISH
Fifa has refused the Football Association of Ireland's request for a replay of France's World Cup play-off win over the Republic of Ireland.
The Republic were beaten 2-1 on aggregate after France won with a goal from William Gallas, after Thierry Henry handled the ball in the build up.
A Fifa statement read: "The result will not be changed and cannot be replayed."
And the French Football Federation (FFF) has no intention of proposing a replay, BBC sport has learned.
With Fifa having rejected the Republic's plea, it was thought Ireland's only hope was if France themselves came forward and backed plans for a replay - but the FFF believes such a notion to be laughable, BBC Sport understands.
The Fifa statement continued: "As is clearly mentioned in the laws of the game, during matches, decisions are taken by the referee and these decisions are final."
A Fifa source had earlier said: "There is no way the game can be replayed. To do so would cause absolute chaos for football. If it was replayed, then every match in the future would also be subject to these calls for a replay any time a referee misses an incident.
"You have to have a rule that says the referee's judgement is always right."

Wengine waukumiwa kunyongwa kwa kuuwa ALBINO
Television footage showed the men, who killed Lyaku Willy and removed his head and legs, leaving the courtroom in Shinyanga region under heavy police escort.
Willy's killing was one of a spate of attacks on the country's estimated 200,000 albinos in the past two years, mostly in the remote northwest of the country near Lake Victoria, where superstition runs deep.
Their body parts are prized in some regions of Tanzania, where witchdoctors say albinos -- who lack pigment in their skin, eyes and hair -- bring luck in love, life and business.
