Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar and discussing about their family problems..
Shot after shot
The Indian man said to the American, We have problem in India. We cant marry the one whom we love.
You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven't even met once.
We call this arranged marriage. I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love...
I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems.
The American said, talking about love marriages...
In America We can marry the one whom we love I'll tell you my story.
I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years.
After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and married her, so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law.
Legally now my daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother.
More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he is my uncle.
Situations turned worse when my father had a son.  Now my father's son, my brother is my grandson.
Ultimately, I have become my own grandfather and I am my own grandson.
And you say you have family problems.
The Indian fainted........!!!

Kuna mdau kanforwadia hii, nimecheka mpaka basi.

TPDC affiliate licensed to import, sell oil

Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) yesterday issued a 24-hour compliance order to four giant oil marketing companies masterminding the current fuel crisis, which has almost ground transport operations.
The move came as Members of Parliament debated the crisis under a certificate of urgency, calling for emergency action to remedy the country from the debilitating crisis, largely pioneered by what was described as a syndicate of big oil marketing companies operating in Tanzania.
“They have to resume services immediately. The compliance order must be respected by these companies, otherwise they will face the wrath of the law,” Ewura Director General, Haruna Masebu told a news conference.

Daily News lasema -

THE Government through Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) has slapped compliance orders to four major oil companies that have been identified as engineers of the ongoing fuel crisis to resume operations immediately.

Delivering the government's statement in the National Assembly on Tuesday, the Minister for Energy and Minerals, Mr William Ngeleja, named the operators as BP Tanzania, Engen Petroleum Tanzania, Oil Com and Camel Oil.

Th Citizen linauliza - MPs: Where is the govt?

Parliament took the government to task yesterday over its handling of the fuel crisis, with MPs warning that the country could be grounded. This could spark off public riot, they said.

Energy and Minerals minister William Ngeleja told the House later that the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Ewura) director general had signed a compliance order requiring retailers to implement the authority’s directives on prices unconditionally.  The order is equivalent to a High Court decree.

Nipashe linapasha -  Mafuta yaitesa serikali

Habari Leo lajinadi  - Wauza mafuta wabanwa, watakiwa kujieleza

Kenyan prison guards shoot cameraman, attack crew

Prison officials in western Kenya attacked three journalists from private broadcaster Nation Television (NTV) on Sunday who were covering an escape attempt by six inmates, local journalists told CPJ.
A guard from Eldoret GK Prison shot at cameraman James Ng'ang'a, destroying his camera equipment and injuring two of his fingers, the reporter told CPJ. He had been filming prison guards beating his colleagues, NTV reporters Jared Nyataya and Barnabas Bii, who were covering attempts to recapture the escaped inmates who had hidden in a nearby church, he said.
The prison guards attacked the NTV crew despite receiving orders from a senior prison officer to allow the journalists to carry out their work, local reports said. Prison Commissioner Isaiah Osugo told NTV on Monday that the incident was being investigated.

"James Ng'ang'a could have lost his life over the violent and totally unjustifiable actions of the prison officials," said CPJ East Africa Consultant Tom Rhodes. "This should be investigated and prison officials should be prosecuted if found guilty of any illegal conduct."
Ng'ang'a went to Eldoret Hospital to get medical treatment for his hand and filed a police report at Eldoret Police Station, he said. "I just noticed my camera wasn't working and then looked down to see my fingers were bleeding after the bullet shattered my camera."
In June, four state employees working for Wajir District Hospital in eastern Kenya attacked Wajir Community Radio journalist Abdi Hassan Hussein for interviewing patients who complained of poor treatment at the facility.
