PHILIPPINES, Angeles : Karla Henry (2nd-R), of the Philippines, poses among other winners after winning the Miss Earth 2008 pageant at the Expo amphitheatre in Angeles, Pampanga, north of Manila on November 9, 2008. 85 contestants from all over the world competed in the annual beauty competition to promote environmental awareness and help each contestants promote and work on their respective environmental advocacies in their country. Tatiane Kelen Alves, 24, from Brazil, Abigail Elizalde Romo, 23, from Mexico, Miriam Odemba, 25, of Tanzania won the titles of Miss Earth Fire, Water, and Air respectively.
