The ex-ministers of Finance Ministry Basil Mramba and Ministry of Energy and Minerals Daniel Yona, returned to Keko remand Prisonuntil tommorow when their case in which are charged with abused of office and occasioning 11bn/- loss to government will be mentioned.
“There is no remove order issued by this court to bring the accused here for bail consideration. There is no any directive given by the High Court to this court in the case’s file to consider bail to the accused today,” says Hakimu Mkazi.
None of the advocates for the accused were ready to comment on the matter. The then ministers are defended by Advocates Michael Ngalo, Joseph Tadayo, Sam Mapande, Mafuru Mafuru and Elisa Msuya.
