...yamuruza Mungai, Mwakalebela na wengine kortni THE Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) on Wednesday hauled former cabinet minister Joseph Mungai to the Iringa Resident Magistrate’s Court to answer corruption charges during CCM primaries. Mungai (66), a veteran politician who has served the government as the cabinet Minister on different portfolios including; Home Affairs, Education and Culture and Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives was implicated in corruption during CCM opinion polls campaigns held on August 8, this year. He is facing 15 charges related to bribing voters in Ihalimba ward, Mufindi North constituency while seeking their endorsement to defend the seat he has held for many years.
